From Wikipedia Episode Ten The Promised Land 1967 - 1968 Eyes on the prize: America's Civil Rights Years is a 1987 documentary series about the African-American Civil Rights Movement covering the years of 1954 to 1965. The series was followed-up by Eyes on the prize II: America at the racial crossroads broadcast in 1990. The series was created and executively-produced by Henry Hampton at Blackside Inc for PBS. It was also shown in the United Kingdom on BBC2.
